Inward Processing (IP)
Inward processing (IP) is a customs scheme which allows non-EU yachts to be imported into the EU for repairs, refurbishment or refitting, and re-exported without customs duty and VAT being levied on the works. Only non-EU yachts under Temporary Admission (TA) can apply. The IP scheme will suspend the 18 months TA period for the duration of the repair, refit or refurbishment works.
